Mount Athos Cruise:
The cruise to Holly Mount Athos starts from the port of Sarti. The boat offering all the standard comforts, sails directly to the most southern point of the Athos peninsula called Erimos (Desert). At this point visitors are able to see numerous hermetic buildings. After the boat turns and goes closer to the shores offering breathtaking views of the monasteries. The multilingual guides narrate and explain the history of orthodoxy, the monasteries and the monastic life.
After passing by the port of Dafni monastery the boat takes its passengers to Amouliany the only habitant island of Halkidiki. After a two hour break on Amouliany the boat starts its journey back to Sarti, leaving its passenger with an unforgetful day of sightseeing.
- Blue lagoon Cruise:
Â This cruise is an all day picnic Cruise starting from the port of Sarti and sailing the northern part of Sithonia. During the cruise you have the opportunity to dive from the boat into the sea, admire the marvelous beaches of Kavourotripes, Vourvourou and may other secludes shores. At the last stop help prepare the grill and the salad while drinking unlimited Greek wine. On the way back to Sarti learn how to dance syrtaki with the crew members and the guides.
- Toroneos Cruise:
Â This as on adventures sightseeing cruise which starts with a bus ride from Sarti to the city of Neos Marmarras. At Marmarras awaits a boat which will make the crossing from Marmarras to the peninsula of Kassandra throw the Toroneos Gulf. One of the highlights of the cruise is the free time in Pefkohori village for shopping, exploring, relaxing and or swimming. Another highlight is the stop which the boat makes at open sea next to the famous turtle island, where people are allowed to dive from the boat into the deep sea.
Food and wine is also provided by the captain from his on board barbeque. Returning to Marmarras the bus waits for the return to Sarti.
- Thessaloniki sightseeing and shopping:
After a bus trip of approximately 2 hours from Sarti to Thessaloniki the excursion starts with a marvelous view of Thessaloniki from the citadel and the old city walls, next there is a stop at St. Dimitrios church. Last stop the White Tower (symbol of Thessaloniki) where everyone has the opportunity to either go shopping at the Turkish Bazar and the other modern shops on Tsimiski Street, or to go sightseeing at the Galleria Arch, the Rotunda Monument, the Archeological museum or the Byzantine museum. Ending the bus will wait for the return to Sarti
Â Â A highlight of your stay in Greece will be a visit to the Meteora Monasteries. Travelling along the coast you shall view Mount Olympus, the mythical residence of the twelve Gods. On the way the bus passes by Larissa and Trikala stopping at the foot of the Meteora cliffs Kalambaka for on optional lunch. At Meteora you shall visit two of the fabulous Monasteries perched high upon the steep rocks. Each monastery possesses a vast richness of frescoes, icons and intricate carvings.
Important notice: For entering the monasteries, appropriate clothing is required.
On the way back to Sarti a short stop is made at the passing of Temby.
